Filing a hail damage claim with your insurance company.
Step 1.
The first thing you'll need to do is call your insurance company and tell them you're filing a claim for hail damage.
Step 2.
At this point your insurance company will ask you to provide photos or videos of the damage and/or they may choose to send an adjuster to you to assess the damage.
Step 3.
After your insurance company has assessed the damage, they will provide you with a claim number and the number of an adjuster assigned to your claim. To make the repair process quicker, it is helpful to give us your claim number and the number of the adjuster.
Step 4.
Often times, your insurance company will send you a check for the cost of repair, however actual repair costs often exceed the initial estimate from the insurance company and a supplement will be required. Please hold on to the initial amount they give you as this will go towards the total cost of repair.
Step 5.
At this point, we will begin to work with you to find the best date for you to bring your vehicle in for a repair estimate to determine if a supplement will be needed. Requesting a supplement with your insurance company is something that we do on your behalf.
